Black '59 Deluxe Type I

Paint : leaving as is (shabby black), with pin stripping in the future

Engine : 2007cc Berg longblock with low compression, it is a low hp street driver, mid 13's street car.

Tranny : 3 speed 1/4 mile box with 4 speed overdrive for hwy driving, it has an aluminum side cover with a super diff with welded 3rd and 4th gears.

Clutch : 2100lb Kennedy pressure plate with Daikon disc

Suspension : 5 1/2" narrowed adjustable beam with custom lower brackets that attach to the control arms to run shock without any body mods, 2 1/2" CB drop spindles with quick steer kit. Steel braided brake lines all the way around, stock brakes, it has been lowered 5 1/2" up front (had to cut out the headlight buckets so the tires will turn) lowered 2 1/2-3" in the rear.

Wheels : BRM's from Flat4, front - 15x5 with 135's, rear - 15x6.5 with M&H DOT street slicks 215/65x15

Other : Electric line lock with MSD 6 plus digital box, FVW tach mount, 5" autometer tach with fuel enrichment gauge, custom built roll cage - goes from front of doors to back of frame horn.
