a few of our members are now sporting some ink too...
things have been busy in the Zündfolge Car Club camp...
a few new members were inducted into the club last november...
dave (69 beetle)...
geevy (70 vert)...
kevin (61 beetle)...
chris & gina (56 oval...as well as a few other drivers & projects)...
i pulled the body off my 64 and went through the chassis...
chris pulled the body off his 66 and is doing some serious chassis work...
jim has the motor, trans and rear suspension out of the wok and is doing some super secret irs conversion and trans upgrades...pics to follow!
and most recently a few of us enjoyed a weekend on the island at the victoria volksfest show...

spro norsk & edragndean...i totally agree...those pics of those cars are awesome. each one catches 2 very different cars in 2 very different environments and both pics really capture a simple beauty and adventureous landscape.
i think we've all been there before in our acvws so we can all relate!!

also wanted to share some Zündfolge Car Club action from the Great Canadian VW Show 2010 weekend...
pit stop on the way to the avr bbq...
a little wetness for the DVKK bp cruise-in but we all still had a great time...!
and our line-up at the big show on sunday...
plus we were very proud, honoured and excited to receive the "outstanding club spirit award"...
(^^a few members (chris & allison, jim & sherri, chris & gina, lori, marianne) were mia but there in spirit!)
all in all the whole GCVWS 2010 weekend was alot of fun and the organizers and volunteers did an outstanding job keeping everyone busy, entertained and happy (despite the less than ideal weather).
good times with great friends!!
